You can't transfer saves from online to download

Pronouns are actually an upcoming update. As you can imagine, making sure all the text in the game can dynamically update to given pronouns of specific cats is rather complex, which is why a neutral they/them was used originally.  But, regardless, we could argue this all day and likely get no where.  The bottom line is that this is the decision that has been made by the contributor team and is very very very unlikely to ever change. You do not have to play the game if it makes you uncomfortable and you can always change the gender of the cat if it displeases you.

That is Classic Mode

Why should we let the cats choose their own mates when the player can manually set mates?  Why should we let the mentors be assigned apprentices automatically when the player can manually assign apprentices?  Why should we let the deputy be chosen automatically when the player can manually promote a deputy?  Why should we include any RNG elements when we already include options for the player to manually make those decisions.  I don't understand why you're only asking this question in regards to the trans cats.  Sounds like you only take issue with one thing, and that reflects badly on you.

You can already play on Mac computers.  If you mean on mobile, then you'll be waiting a long time.  We aren't going to be able to port the game to a mobile version anytime soon.

Give your apps to a mentor with the skill you desire! If you have them patrol together as much as possible, then the app will be more likely to have a skill similar to their mentor's

I'm a contributor for the game, I know what I'm talking about.  If you need more indepth help then I'd suggest joining the Discord and asking in the mac tech support channel.

You don't need Linux to run the game on mac, you can just use the mac download available on this page.

Where exactly did you hear that?  Our twitter hasn't announced anything about when Cruel Season will come out (and it certainly won't be that soon)

You're still welcome to change the cat's gender via their profile page! It's not set in stone and you don't have to keep what the game decides.  The game is build on RNG aspects, that's always going to be an aspect of it.

Your anti virus program is probably deleting it, you should look into making ClanGen an exception for the program

The new update is what you can download from this page.

We don't take suggestions at this time.

Sounds like your anti virus is deleting clangen files, you need to mark clangen as an exception to your anti virus and try redownloading

It's explained in the FAQ on this page

The FAQ on this page already explains how to open the game

It's all RNG, sounds like you're just getting unlucky.

The web version is not the same as the downloadable version, as long as you can access a browser you will be able to access the web version

The game does not have a mobile version.

It will work whenever the person maintaining it finds time to fix it, please be patient.

Because that's part of the dev version only.  The FAQ in the discord has some advice on how to get the dev version.

I would suggest joining the discord and asking for help there!

HP isn't an operating system, it's a brand of computer.  You likely have a Windows OS on your computer, and so the Windows release should work for you.

That's fine with us :) We've got plenty of people who love the game the way it is, including us! And at the end of the day, creating a game we love is more important than pleasing you and your homophobia.

You would need discord to get the mod if I did, so it seems like you wouldn't be able to access it even if a mod was made.

I would suggest joining the discord and asking if any modders would be interested in adding that.  There's no plans to add it to the official version of the game.

Hello! I'm the mod being referenced in many of the comments.  I can assure you that there is no trojan virus in the code.  This is a problem that has been reported before and ClanGen is also frequently flagged and deleted by most AntiVirus programs.  The FAQ above does mention this.   Keep in mind that the code is completely open source and free to view at any time by anyone, so anyone who is worried can view the code for themselves to check for anything malicious.  Additionally, we have many coders who contribute to the game and review any code that is going to be added, especially when it's code from someone new, so it's unlikely that any viruses would ever end up in the code.

Yup! We're constantly adding to the cat's sprite possibilities.

You do have that control! You can always un-trans or get real specific with their gender via the Personal Tab in their profile

There's no immediate plans to expand it further, but it might be smth we do in the far future.

It's not something we plan to add.  They/them works well as a default and it would be a massive amount of work to change it at this point, as well as difficult to determine what pronouns a cat should use.  Keeping it neutral is our preference!

Redcough is an extremely difficult disease to recover from, but it is possible!  Make sure your med cat is well stocked with herbs and pray to StarClan.  If they can survive long enough then they'll eventually be cured.

Hello! I'm one of the devs.  We won't be adding a setting for LGBTQ cats.  We've already discussed it in depth.  Many of the people on our team are queer and aren't interested in creating a "toggle" to turn off those parts of the game.  If you really want to avoid having it in game, I would suggest looking into modding the game to your specifications.

Nope, we won't be adding either of those due to the extremely painful lives they would realistically live in the wild.
